Think Small
I admit it: I grew up with advertising more than "design." My dad worked in the advertising departments of the Sacramento Bee and Sacramento Union. He gave me his VW convertible when I was in high school. I loved that car! I also loved the classic Bernbach Volkswagen ads. They were clean, simple and clever. They also sold millions of cars. So when the time came for us to promote ourselves to the Sacramento Advertising Club, Wendy and I did an homage to "Think Small," the best known of the VW print ads. We won a How Magazine award for it.
